Privacy policy

What we collect

Nothing. The extension does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data, page content or screenshots. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking inside the extension.

What is stored, and where

• Screenshots, their edits and your capture history are stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB). They never leave your device and you can delete them at any time from the history page.
• Your settings (format, language, PDF options, etc.) are stored with Chrome’s extension storage. If you use Chrome sync, Chrome may sync these settings between your own devices through your Google account — this is handled by Chrome, not by us.

Why the extension asks for permissions

• activeTab and scripting: to capture the tab you are on and to show the selection tools and the progress card on that page.
• storage and unlimitedStorage: to keep your settings, and your screenshots and history locally.
• downloads: to save the PNG, JPEG or PDF file that you choose to save.
• Optional access to websites (http/https): requested only when a capture needs to reach into an embedded frame (iframe) from another site. You can decline it; everything else keeps working.

This website

The website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. When you change the language, the site may store a single functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers your choice. The site is served by a hosting provider that may keep standard technical server logs (for example IP address and requested page) for security and reliability.

Contact form

If you write to us through the contact form on this website, we receive the message and, if you give them, your name and e-mail address. We use them only to read and answer your message and do not add them to any list. The message is delivered by e-mail through our e-mail provider (Resend). The extension itself sends nothing: its “Write to us” button only opens the form on this website.

Third parties

Donations. TakeFullPage is free. If you want to support it, the donate buttons lead to our page on Ko-fi (ko-fi.com), a third-party service with its own privacy policy. The website loads Ko-fi’s widget script from storage.ko-fi.com, so Ko-fi may see your IP address and browser details when you open the site. Inside the extension, nothing is loaded from Ko-fi until you press the “Support me” button on the screenshot page; then Ko-fi’s page opens in a frame. Payments are handled entirely by Ko-fi and its payment provider; we never see your card or account details.

We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect it. The extension is distributed through the Chrome Web Store, which has its own privacy policy.

Children

TakeFullPage is not directed at children and does not knowingly process any personal data.

Changes

If this policy changes — for example when paid features or accounts are introduced — we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
